This collection sits alongside a related one: Memos & History Bits, organized along similar lines — by workplace, industry association or client relationship. The distinction between the two: Memos & History Bits holds material with a direct personal connection to Howard Finberg’s own career and to the site’s Analog-to-Digital Timeline, situated with added commentary. The Archival Collections, by contrast, gathers documents that carry less individual significance on their own — but matter in aggregate, as evidence of an industry’s day-to-day paper trail that might otherwise have been lost.
